noisy library

library = quiet
library = fussy librarians telling you to keep your noise level down
library = NO TALKING
Central Library in NUS = None of the above

Firstly, the librarians in the Central Library in school are one of the best. They are extremely helpful, extremely courteous, and extremely pleasant people. Definitely NOT the ones being stereotyped as. Well, being polite and service-oriented does has its cons as well. In my one year or so in the library, it has NEVER been quiet.What's the point of having a library if it turns out to be a meeting spot where shameless people meet up and chat about everything under the sun? I hadn't thought of the adjective "shameless" had i not heard it from one of the frustrated girls who left the library in a huff. Apparently, there was a group of SHAMELESS b**tards sitting near them who chatted so damn noisily. Young di*cks out there, if you think that telling everyone who you screwed last night is a very honorable and great thing, keep it for your mum and dad. Leave it for your grandparents as well. People like me don't want to hear all your nonsense and bullshit. I came to the library to revise my schoolwork, NOT to listen to some SOBs' conquests. NOT to watch people flirting and making out.
Secondly, cellphones. Why are some people so f**king deaf? Why are they so arse-brained? This is a library, so kindly switch your cellphones to vibrate or silent mode. UNDERGARDS....HUH! Either they do not understand simple English or they bought their way to the university. Hope these people fail their examinations and get dismissed from the university.

Singaporeans are one awful bunch of whiners. When i mean whiners, i mean whiners. Not Bloggers. They complain about everything. I know they are rich and powerful. I know they have air-con units at home. I know they are highly educated. So they have the right and entitlement to complain everything under the sun. Degrading my fellow countrymen does not absolve those Chinese national students, mind you. Very often i've heard these Chinese students bad-mouthing their Singapoean counterparts. Hello.....you are in MY country. Our tax-payers are SUBSIDISING your education. In case you do not know what SUBSIDISING mean, it means that your school fees are cheaper. Your educational materials are cheaper. Your hostels are cheaper. You DID NOT serve national service in MY country and you're here talking cock about my countrymen. As much as i want to accept them, our cultures and society differs too much. As least i was taught not to bite the hand that feeds you.

WAIT! That's suppose to be a CHINESE proverb. Looks like they have have look into themselves first.
