a new school term

School reopens. Last week.

Lots of stuff to do. Adminstrative, academic, psychological preparation, weight loss....Well, i'm more hardworking this semester. At least for the moment. Had been to the library almost everyday since school reopened. Been doing tutorials and revision. Am DAMN proud of myself. Look at me, a lazy person doing revision just a week into he new school term!

Well, it isn't just all work and no play for me. Probably one of my greatest pastimes' now bowling. Friends who know me will know how much i luVVV bowling. I might not be an excellent bowling player. I'm not that bad either. Being alone most of the time, bowling's one of those sports which doesn't require a sparring partner. Its one very expensive sport though. I look at competitions and tournaments held in the bowling alley i frequent with hope. Hope of competing in one of these tournaments one day. Its not like i'm dreaming of playing against the greats. It would just be great winning $500 in a small-scale competition. I started bowling like in 2002. I was in the army then. And i had this army campanion and friend who was into bowling. Three years later, we are still meeting almost every week for our games.

The reason i'm harping so much about bowling: i had just broken my personal record on 5 August 2005.
